Founded in 2021, the Montebello Mountain Bike Festival is an annual event aiming to celebrate this wonderful sport and to showcase our amazing trail network by offering diverse activities that are accessible to all levels of riders. The festival is unique by combining sport and culture in a festive atmosphere to attract a larger audience.

Festivalgoers can enjoy music concerts as well as multiple activities in the trails. Past performers include The Planet Smashers, Mononc’ Serge and Pépé. A must-attend event for all mountain bike enthusiasts, the event will grow in years to come by further developing its programming. The third edition took place on September 22-24, 2023.

Its sister winter event, the annual Montebello Fatbike Festival, was launched in 2022 and quickly became the ultimate gathering for the fatbiking community. Accessible to both first timers and experienced riders, the event offers diverse activities in our spectacular winter trail network. Seasoned riders can take on the Fat Papineau Challenge, an epic 15-kilometer adventure loop regarded as one of the best fatbike experiences in the province. The third edition will take place in February 2024.
